World Homoeopathy Day - 2016
The World Homoeopathy Day 2016 was observed at
Father Muller Homeopathic Medical College, Deralakatte on 16.04.16 at 9.45. A.M.
The programme began with a prayer song invoking God's blessings by Ms Sneha and
team. Dr Shivaprasad, Principal, FMHMC welcomed the gathering.
Dr A Kannan, distinguished alumnus, Director of
AIHMS and Founder Trustee of Global Homoeopathy, was the Guest of Honor. Rev Fr
Vincent Vinod Saldanha, Administrator, FMHMC, greeted the guest with a bouquet.
This was followed by traditional lighting of the lamp by the dignitaries on the
Dais. The Guest of honor in address spoke on the rapid pace of development in
the field of Homeopathy and Homoeopathic Medical education. He stressed on how
the demand for the system has risen with big waiting lists of students desirous
of joining the course and the stupendous research going on the system globally.
Dr Danielraj, Medical Head, Dr Batras (south zone)
announced and distributed the prizes to the Top achievers Ms Stephy Anna Varghese – Rs 50000, Ms Rajasree Nambiar – Rs
15000 and Ms Sahana D, Rs 10000 on this occasion.
The 6th batch Alumni of Father Muller Homoeopathic Medical College
sponsored prizes for the 2011-2012 onwards batch to Ms Aysha Rauf for securing
highest aggregate in all the 4 years examinations.
The Administrator Rev. Fr Vincent
Vinod Saldanha delivered his presidential address in which he wished all
students a happy World Homoeopathy Day and motivated them to emulate the
examples of Father Muller and Samuel Hahnemann.
Dr Anita Lobo, Professor,
Department of Repertory, convenor, proposed the vote of thanks and expressed
her happiness and gratitude. The programme was compeered competently by MS
Keerthana.
After the inaugural programme, the
Guest of Honor Dr A Kannan took over the session and shared his experience,
knowledge and charged the students with enthusiasm and inspiration to march
ahead in the field of Homoeopathy.
