SOUTH INDIA ENT QUIZ 2016
The Department of Oto-Rhino-Laryngology, Father Muller
Medical College, conducted South India ENT Quiz for undergraduate students on 16.10.2016
where 37 Medical Colleges from the states of Karnataka, Kerala, Tamil Nadu and
Andhra Pradesh participated. The event was a full day program consisting of a
preliminary selection round followed by a final round with the top 4 teams. The
final event consisted of ten rounds including, spot diagnosis, radiological
imaging, audio- visual and rapid fire rounds. The quiz master Dr Girish Raj, Professor
and HOD, ENT, MES Medical College Perinthalmanna, Kerala made the event not only highly educational but also an enjoyable one.
First place was won
by the team from Mysore Medical College (Cash prize of Rupees 10,000/- and a
trophy). Second place was won by the team
from Government Medical College, Calicut (Cash prize of Rupees 5,000/- and a trophy).
