VELORA 2K26 - Annual Cultural Fest

The Annual Cultural Fest VELORA 2K26 of Father Muller Homoeopathic Medical College & Hospital concluded on a vibrant and celebratory note on 30th May 2026, showcasing the creativity, talent, and team spirit of the students.

Dr ESJ Prabhu Kiran, Principal welcomed the gathering.

The valedictory function was graced by Mrs. Hera Pinto, renowned Master of Ceremonies and Creative Director, as the Chief Guest. The programme was presided over by Rev. Fr. Donald Nilesh Crasta, Administrator of Father Muller Homoeopathic Medical College & Hospital.

VELORA 2K26 featured a series of exciting competitions spread over two days. The first day witnessed the energetic Split Screen Dance Competition, while the second day included crowd-favourite events such as Ramp Walk, Replica – Movie Recreation, Battle of the Bands, and Dance Dil Se – Non-Thematic Dance Competition. The performances reflected the immense talent, enthusiasm, and creativity of the student community.

During the valedictory ceremony, Dr. Ancy George, Cultural Coordinator, announced the winners of the various competitions and congratulated all participants for their spirited involvement throughout the cultural fest.

A major highlight of the event was the Great Ramp walk were Mr. Akhil Monteiro of Team Clarke was selected as Mr Velora and Ms. Velora 2026, awarded to Ms. Gamana of Team Kent, in recognition of their outstanding performance, personality, and stage presence.

In the overall championship standings, Team Hering emerged as the Champions of VELORA 2K26, while Team Kent secured the position of First Runners-Up. The winning teams were felicitated amidst loud applause and cheers from students and faculty members.

The programme concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks delivered by Ms. Ashwini K. V., Cultural Secretary, who expressed gratitude to the management, faculty, organizing committee, participants, judges, and students for making the event a grand success.

The proceedings of the day were efficiently compered by Dr. Parvathi and Dr. Ensina, whose engaging presentation added charm to the valedictory ceremony.

VELORA 2K26 successfully celebrated the spirit of culture, creativity, teamwork, and healthy competition, leaving behind cherished memories for all who participated.
