In continuation of the initiative to enhance homoeopathic clinical skills among postgraduate students and to promote meaningful academic interaction with experienced practitioners, the Postgraduate Department of Father Muller Homoeopathic Medical College successfully conducted the second seminar of the LEAP – Local Experts to Augment Postgraduate Education series.
The second seminar in the LEAP series was conducted on 10 April 2026 at the Fr. Muller Seminar Hall, Deralakatte. This ongoing academic initiative aims to bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical clinical application by facilitating direct interaction between postgraduate students and practicing homoeopathic experts. Dr. Manu Bhat from Bhat’s Multispecialty Homoeopathic Clinic & Holistic Healing Centre, Uppala, was invited as the resource person for this session.
The programme commenced with a brief introduction by Dr. G. Rajachandra, PG Coordinator, who welcomed the gathering and reiterated the importance of the LEAP series in strengthening clinical orientation among postgraduate students. He emphasized the need for continuous learning through interaction with experienced clinicians actively engaged in practice.
The programme was also graced by the presence of Dr. Girish Navada, Principal In-charge. In his address, he urged the postgraduate students to make the best use of such academic sessions and actively engage in learning from experienced practitioners. As a gesture of respect and appreciation, he formally welcomed the resource person, Dr. Manu Bhat, with a bouquet and later presented a memento as a token of gratitude for his valuable contribution.
The academic session was delivered by Dr. Manu Bhat, who shared his extensive clinical experience and practical insights into homoeopathic practice. He discussed commonly encountered clinical conditions in day-to-day practice and elaborated on effective case-taking approaches, remedy selection, and management strategies. He also highlighted the importance of individualized treatment and shared valuable tips on clinical decision-making and patient management.
The session was highly interactive, with active participation from postgraduate students and faculty members. The resource person addressed queries and encouraged students to develop confidence in handling clinical cases with a practical and ethical approach.
The programme concluded with a note of gratitude by Dr G Rajachandra, who thanked the resource person for his valuable contribution and the participants for their active involvement. The second seminar of the LEAP series further strengthened the objective of integrating academic learning with real-world clinical expertise and proved to be a meaningful step towards developing competent and confident homoeopathic practitioners.
