Training session on McGraw Hill’s Access Medicine

Father Muller Central Library Committee organized a Training session on McGraw Hill’s Access Medicine on 07^th March 2025 at 3.00 pm in the Decennial Memorial Hall. 

The Program began with an Invocation with a prayer song. Dr. John J.S. Martis, Professor of General Surgery, Chairperson of the Central Library Committee, welcomed the gathering and introduced the Resource Person Mr. Vasanth S., Senior Customer Success Specialist, McGraw Hill, Noida, Uttar Pradesh. Dr. Janet Dotty Lobo, Chief Librarian and Secretary of the Central Library Committee, offered a bouquet to Mr. Vasanth S.

Mr. Vasanth S defined McGraw Hill’s Access Medicine and gave a live demo on how to create a free profile and  access medical textbooks, videos & audios, cases, review questions, study tools,  flash cards, Infographics, Interactive 3D modules, Key points, Clerkship Resource Collections, Multimedia, Drug Monographs, Images, Podcasts, Differential Diagnosis Tool, Basic Search and access through mobile App.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                               

The program was attended by the staff, Library Committee Members, Postgraduate Students, Undergraduate Students and the Library Staff. There was a good response to the Program, over 200 Staff members and Students actively participated and interacted with the resource person.  

The vote of thanks was proposed by Dr. Michelle Serene Fernandes, Professor, Dept. of Dermatology, and the Member of the Central Library Committee. The program was meticulously compered by  Ms. Claudia Johnny, Assistant Professor, Department of MLT, and the member of the Central Library Committee. The Program concluded with Institutional Anthem followed by Refreshments.
