ADVANCES IN HEART AND LUNG TRANSPLANTATION - GUEST LECTURE

The Department of General Surgery, Father Muller Medical College, conducted a Guest Lecture on 1^st March 2025 at 3.00 p.m. to 4.30 p.m. at the Hospital conference hall. Dr. Diya Baju Parappat, who compered the programme, welcomed the gathering and introduced the guest speaker Dr. Ashok Padukone, who is the alumnus of our college.

Dr. Rakesh Rai, Professor & HOD, Department of General Surgery, gave a floral welcome to the guest speaker Dr. Ashok Padukone. Dr. Leo Francis Tauro, Professor and Unit Head welcomed the moderator Dr. Anand K T, Professor and Head of department of Cardio thoracic surgery with a floral bouquet.

Dr. Ashok Padukone, Speciality Doctor in Cardio Thoracic Transplanation and MCS, Harefield Hospital, Guys and St. Thomas NHS Foundation Trust, London delivered a guest lecture on “Advances in Heart and Lung Transplantation”. Dr. Anand KT, Professor and head of department gave an insight about heart and lung transplantation in brief and moderated the session. The guest speaker had an interactive session with the postgraduates and staff members. It was very well appreciated by all the participants. Dr. Anand KT handed over the memento and certificate to the guest speaker. Dr. John Joseph S. Martis, Professor and unit head handed over the memento and certificate to the moderator. The vote of thanks proposed by Dr. Diya Baju Parappat. 60 delegates attended the guest lecture.
