World Glaucoma week

The Department of Ophthalmology, Father Muller Medical College Hospital Observed World Glaucoma week from 09^th March 2025 to 15^th March 2025 under National Programme for Control of Blindness & Visual Impairment (NPCB & VI) with the Theme Uniting for a Glaucoma free world. On occasion of World Glaucoma week, we conducted free Glaucoma screening camp at Father Muller Medical College Hospital from 9^th to 15^th March 2025. 521 patients were screened for Glaucoma. Intra ocular Pressure measurement, optic disc screening visual field analysis and optic disc OCT were done. Poster competition was held for the Under graduate students on 14^th& 15^th March 2025 and the posters were displayed in patient waiting area and awareness programme was conducted.Banners were made to create awareness and displayed in the OPD and hospital Premises.
