Guest Lecture on “Comprehensive Lymphedima Management From Conservative Control To Surgical Reversal”

The Department of General Surgery, Father Muller Medical College, conducted a Guest Lecture on 10th May 2025 at 3.00 p.m. to 4.30 p.m. at the Hospital conference hall. Dr. Diya Baju Parappat, who compered the programme, welcomed the gathering and introduced the guest speaker Dr. George Taliat, Associate Consultant, Plastic Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery, Aster Medicity, Kochi who is also the alumnus of our college. Dr. Shubha Rao, Professor of Surgery gave a floral welcome to the guest speaker. Dr. Rohan Dsouza welcomed the Moderator Dr. Ashish Singhal, Associate Professor of Plastic Surgery, Father Muller Medical College with a floral bouquet. 

Dr. George Taliat delivered a lecture on “Comprehensive Lymphedima Management from Conservative Control to Surgical Reversal”. He explained how the treatment evolved from conservative to surgical reversal of lymphedima. This session moderated by Dr. Ashish Singhal and Dr. Erel Diaz. The guest speaker had an interactive session with the postgraduates and staff members. It was very well appreciated by all the participants. 

 Dr. Ashish Singhal and Dr. Erel Diaz, moderators handed over the memento and certificate to the guest speaker. The vote of thanks proposed by Dr. Diya Baju Parappat. Followed by institutional anthem. This guest lecture was attended by Staff, Post graduate residents and house surgeons of General Surgery Department.
