Mentoring Workshop

The Government Medical College, Kannur had invited Resource faculty from FMMC to conduct a workshop on “Enhancing Communication and Counselling Skills for Mentors” on 18th Nov 2025. A total of 30 faculties from GMC, Kannur participated in this workshop. The MEU members of FMMC – Dr. Nagesh KR, Dr. Chandralekha N and Dr. Mangala S involved actively as the resource persons during this workshop. It included various presentations with hands on activities related to mentor-mentee relationship such as types of mentoring, responsibilities of mentors, documentation of mentor-mentee interactions and counselling techniques for mentors. This workshop was well appreciated by the participants and also increased their knowledge on mentoring.
