Thieme MedOne ComSci: User Awareness Program

Father Muller College of Speech and Hearing in collaboration with Father Muller Knowledge Centre organized a user awareness Program on “Thieme MedOne ComSci”, held on 20th April 2026 at 3.30 pm in the Decennial Memorial Hall.

Dr. Janet Dotty Lobo, Chief Librarian, welcomed the gathering and introduced the resource person, Mr. A. Arun Kumar, Area Sales Manager for South, Thieme Medical & Publishing Group, Bangalore. Prof. Cynthia Santhmayor, Principal, Father Muller College of Speech and Hearing, offered a bouquet to the resource person.

Mr. A. Arun Kumar gave a live demo on Thieme MedOne ComSci e-resource. Briefed on e-books, e-journals, cases, playlists, audios, videos, images and question bank. The resource person has highlighted its importance and benefits.

The program was attended by the staff, students of Speech & Hearing and the Library staff. There was a good response to the program over 120 staff and students actively participated and interacted with the resource person.

The vote of thanks was proposed by Dr Calida Frieda Pinto, Assistant Professor of Speech Language Pathology, and member of the Central Library Committee. The program concluded with refreshments.
