MASS HEALTH EDUCATION ON PREVENTION & MANAGEMENT OF DIARRHOEA

The students of II year GNM as a part of their Child Health Nursing
conducted a mass health education on January 10, 2019 at 11.00 am in ‘K’ ward
on the topic “Prevention and Management of Diarrhoeaâ€. The programme commenced
with a prayer song. The welcome speech was given by Ms Shwetha followed by
which a role play on the topic was performed.
The students explained the causes, phases, signs and symptoms and
management of Diarrhoea, using A.V aids. The inmates and patients of the ‘K’
ward were present. Faculties of Father Muller School of Nursing and
ward-in-charges graced the occasion. The play was performed in Kannada. Vote of
thanks was given by Ms Teena Viola DSouza. The Programme came to an end at
noon. The programme was compeered by Ms Yashaswini. Around 20 patients were benefited out of it.
