MASS HEALTH EDUCATION on MISCONCEPTION ABOUT MENTAL ILLNESS

       The students of II year GNM as a part of their Mental health Nursing Practicals conducted a mass health education on 28th February 2020 at 2.30 pm in 'Family Psychiatric ward' on "Misconception about Mental Illness". The programme commenced with a prayer song. The welcome speech was given by Ms Reshma R followed by a role play.

       The students explained the causes, types, signs and symptoms and management of the topic using various A.V aids. The inmates and patients of 'Family Psychiatric ward'  were present. Subject Co-ordinator and Faculties of Father Muller School of Nursing graced the occasion. The play was performed in Kannada.

Vote of thanks was given by Ms Mamatha M.S. The Programme came to an end at 3.10 pm. Ms Preethi compered the program. Around 45 patients were benefited out of it.
