 MASS HEALTH EDUCATION on PREVENTION OF ACCIDENTS IN CHILDREN

The students of II year GNM as a part of
their Child Health Nursing conducted a mass health education on 29th
February 2020 at 11.00 am in 'K' ward on the topic "Prevention of accidents in
children". The programme commenced with a prayer song. The welcome speech was
given by Ms Akshal DSouza followed by
which a role play on the topic was
performed.
The students explained the causes,
phases, sign and symptoms and Prevention of accidents in children using A.V
aids. The inmates and patients of 'K' ward were present. Subject Co-ordinator
and Faculties of Father Muller School of Nursing graced the occasion. The play was
performed in Kannada. Vote of thanks was given by Ms Joyal Fernandes. The Programme
came to an end at 12.00 pm. Mr Calied Harvin Rodrigues compered the program.
Around 50 patients were benefited out of it.
