The students
of III year GNM conducted the School health Programme on 24-02-21 at Government High School, Adyapady,
Bajpe. The Programme started at 11 am by invoking God's blessings through a
prayer song led by students of
Government High School, Adyapady. Ms Nesli Fernandes, III year GNM
welcomed the gathering. The headmistress of Govt. Primary School, Mrs Cynthia D
Souza and High School headmistress Mrs Meera were present along with the
coordinator Mrs Vidya Mohan and Mrs Caroline Smitha at the program.
Dr Jessy M D Souza, the chief guest
of the Programme, addressed the students regarding Personal hygiene, the importance of handwashing and wearing the mask
properly. She emphasized these measures mainly to prevent coronavirus infection.
Mrs Jasmine Sarita Vas, Principal of Father Muller School of Nursing spoke regarding the importance of health. The
teaching faculty of Father Muller School of Nursing was actively involved in
the programme.
The students performed a role play on
Personal Hygiene, Menstrual Hygiene, Nutrition, Adolescent Mental Health, Sexually
Transmitted Infections and described the importance of personal hygiene using
various audio-visual aids.
A vote of thanks was delivered by Ms
Pushpa of III year GNM. Refreshments were distributed to the
gathering. The programme was compered by Ms Shwetha. Around 95 were the
beneficiaries of the programme.
