MASS HEALTH EDUCATION ON ANTENATAL CARE & EXERCISES

The students of III YEAR GNM as a part of their OBG practicals conducted a mass health education on 25 -02-2021 at 10 am in H ward on "Antenatal care and Exercises". The programme was commenced with a prayer song lead by Ms Divya Jyothi and group. Ms Preema Mathias III year GNM student welcomed the gathering.

        The students explained antenatal care, diet in pregnancy, antenatal visits, antenatal advise and exercises by using various audio-visual aids and by performing a role play. Antenatal exercises were demonstrated to the patients by Ms Sneha Jose. A video on the birth process of a newborn was displayed to the audience. The patients of H ward and their relatives were present. Mrs Jasmine Sarita Vas, Principal Father Muller School of Nursing along with the faculty and ward in-charge graced the occasion.

           A vote of thanks was given by Ms Vincy K.K III year GNM student. The Programme came to end at 10.45 am. Refreshments were served at the end Ms Nishitha DSouza III year GNM compered the programme. Around 20 patients were benefited from it.
