The students
of III year GNM conducted the School health Programme on 23-03-21 at Morning Star higher primary school
Bajpe. The Programme started at 10.30 am by invoking God's blessings through a
prayer song led by students of Morning
star higher primary school Bajpe. Ms Dylan Jyothi, Teacher of the Morning Star
higher Primary school welcomed the gathering. The headmistress of School Sr
Reena, Mrs Jasmine Sarita Vas, Principal Father Muller School Of Nursing were
present along with the coordinator Mrs Vidya Mohan and Mrs Caroline Smitha at
the program.
Dr Jessy M D Souza RMO of Father Muller Salvadore Monteiro Rural Health
Training centre Bajpe, was the chief guest of the Programme addressed the
students regarding Personal hygiene, the importance of menstrual
hygiene. She emphasized on Health is wealth and how we can attain a wealthy
life by maintaining personal hygiene. Mrs Jasmine Sarita Vas Principal, Father
Muller School of Nursing spoke
regarding the importance of personal hygiene in daily life. The teaching
faculty of Father Muller School of Nursing were actively involved in the
programme.
The students performed the role play on
Personal Hygiene and Menstrual Hygiene. Students described its importance
and the health benefits using various audio-visual aids. A video was displayed
on the topic of personal hygiene and menstrual hygiene.
Vote of thanks was delivered by Ms
Husna III year GNM. Refreshments were distributed to the gathering. The
programme was compered by Mast Rishan Noronha 7th standard student. Around
95 were the beneficiaries of the programme.
