School Health Program

The
students of III year GNM conducted the school health program on March 31,2022
in Dakshina Kannada Higher Primary School, Valachilin Farangipette.The program
commenced at 10.30am by invoking God's blessings through a prayer song by III
GNM students. Ms.Plowcy Maria welcomed the gathering. Mrs.ZeenathSharief was
the chief guest of the program. She addressed the gathering regarding the
environmental sanitation. Sr.Nancy Priya Mathias, Principal, FMSON spoke on the
significance of health. Community Health nursing faculty Mrs. Vidya Mohan,
Mrs.RainaMascarenhas, Mrs. Caroline Smitha and Mrs.Molly Vas, incharge headmistress
of the GovernmentHigher Primary School graced the program.The students provided
the health education to all the staff and students on the topics of personal hygiene, stress management, menstrual hygiene and health
benefits using various audio visual aids and role play. Ms. PreemalMenezes
delivered the vote of thanks.Ms.Sneha K. P. compered the program. Total of 80
students benefitted from the program.
