MASS HEALTH EDUCATION - MANAGEMENT OF MENTAL ILLNESS

The
students of II year GNM conducted mass health education on March 11, 2022, in
the 'General psychiatry ward' ward at 10.45 am on the topic "Management of
mental illness". The program commenced with a prayer song sung by Ms. Reema DSouza
and the group. Mr. Joel DSouza, welcomed the gathering, followed by the role play
on the theme.
The
students explained the causes, clinical features, diagnostic measures,
management and preventive measures of Mental illness. A total of 20 patients benefitted from the program. Ms. Vishma DSouza, delivered
the vote of thanks.
Ms.
Melita Pinto, compered the program. The program came to an end at 11.15 am.
