Mental Health Nursing Mass Health Education

The students of II year GNM conducted the Mental Health Nursing
mass health education program on July 13, 2022, in the 'General psychiatry' ward
on the topic of Management of substance abuse.
The program began at 2.00 pm by invoking god's blessings
through a prayer song by II year GNM students. Ms Flavita DSouza, welcomed the
gathering, followed by the dramatic dance on the theme.
The students explained the causes, psychiatric
disorders due to substance abuse, and management of substance abuse. Mr. Bleston Sequeira delivered the vote of thanks. Ms. Anisha DSouza, compered the program. A total of
15 patients benefitted from the program. The program came to an end at 2.30 pm.
