Father Muller School of nursing
organized a farewell program 'HASTA LA
VISTA' to bid farewell to the
students of the 62nd batch of
general nursing and midwifery on 31st October 2022 in the Rajath
Bhavan.
The students of the outgoing batch marched
into the Rajath Bhavan at 2.00 pm. Ms Alphosa Joseph & Ms Burney Sabu
compered the merry-go-round session and created a jubilant ambiance. The formal
program commenced at 3.15 pm with a prayer song invoking the blessings of the
Almighty by, Ms. Lamia DSouza and group, 1st year GNM students. Ms
Lenisha DCunha, 2nd year GNM
student welcomed the august gathering. The Cultural Program was hosted
by the juniors to captivate the audience.
Rev Fr. Richard Aloysius Coelho,
Director, FMCI, Rev. Sr. Jacintha Dsouza, Principal, Father Muller school and
college of nursing, Sr. Dhanya Devasia, CNO, FMMCH, Fr. Felix Monteiro and Fr. Ronald Lobo,
Spiritual Directors, FMCI, Wardens of Carmel hostel were present on this
occasion.
The outgoing students had overwhelming feelings to express before they leave the portals of their Alma Mater.
Ms Shanice Leona Mendes, did this noble task with grateful feelings and due respect to the institution for molding
them into competent nurses.
As a token of love and memoir on behalf of the Institution,
Rev. Sr. Jacintha Dsouza, Principal, FMSON & FMCON, and Rev. Fr Richard Aloysius Coelho,
Director, FMCI, President of the program
handed over the mementos to the outgoing students, followed by the presidential
address. Director appealed to the students to be empathetic and kind as
Nurses.
Sr. Dhanya Devasia, CNO, FMMCH,
distributed the prizes to the winners of the games. A short video was displayed
depicting the reminiscence by Mr Bleston Sequeira, 2nd year GNM student. Rev. Sr Jacintha Dsouza, Principal of FMSON & FMCON appreciated the batch for all their
qualities & achievements in the
board exams.
Ms. Flavita DSouza, 2nd year GNM student, proposed the vote of thanks followed
by the institutional anthem. Refreshments
were served to the gathering. Mr. Joswin Pinto and Ms. Reema Dsouza, 2nd year GNM students, compered the formal program.
