School Health Education: Personal Hygiene

The Child Health Nursing
Department organized an awareness programme on "Personal Hygiene" on 14th
of July 2023 at St. Rita's Primary School, Cascia, Mangaluru along with the II
GNM students.
The programme commenced at 10.30
AM. The students and faculty members gave awareness through a role play, a
short video, and a PowerPoint on personal hygiene teaching
mainly included the meaning of personal hygiene, its purpose, and the importance of hygiene in our daily life.
Towards the end, a quiz on personal hygiene was conducted. The beneficiaries
were 172 children, including six teaching
staff.
