PTS Meeting

The
Parent Teacher Student Committee of Father Muller College of Nursing organized
a PTS meeting and a session on "Fostering learning environment "for all parents/guardians
of the I, II I and III GNM Batches of Father Muller College of Nursing on 19thAugust
2023from 9.30am-4.30pm at Rajath Bhavan. The program started by imploring God's
grace through a prayer song by GNM students. Mrs Denitha T, PTS Chairperson, welcomed
and introduced the resource person DR.MONA JAQUELINE MENDONCA,ASSISTANT
PROFESSOR, Department of History, ST ALOYSIUS COLLEGE, Mangaluru. She guided
the parents how to tackle their children, not to compare with other children,
compliment more often, make them systematic, allow them to express their emotion
and make them more responsible for their life by showing genuine love and care.
She stressed the parents to meet their psychological need and give them a good
environment at home which in turn will foster the learning environment. Followed
by Analysis of university exam and sessional exam result report by the
coordinators of all respective batches. Rev. Sr Jacintha D'Souza, Principal,
Father Muller college of Nursing interacted with parents regarding their
performance and clarified the doubts of the parents. Afternoon parents had
meeting with coordinators of respective batches. Around 102 parents were present
for the meeting. Meeting adjourned at 4.30 pm.
