Mass Health Education and Nutrition Program

The students of first year GNM conducted the "Mass Health Education and Nutrition Programme" on 03//08/2024 at 10.30 am in "Navajyothi Nagara Community Hall" Valachil, Arkula. The programme began with a prayer song lead by Ms Elvita Cutinha and group. The group was welcomed by Ms Sanvi Menezes. The program was inauguarated by lighting the lamp by the dignitaries Mr Rajesh Nelson, President,Navajyothi Nagara Community Hall, Mr Ubaidulla, Adyar Panchayath Member, Mrs Vinoda and Mrs Ahwini, Asha  worker and Anganwadi Teacher, Mr Sathish Pandith, President, Naga Nagini Temple, Mr Praveen, Member, Navajyothi Nagara community hall, Mrs Caroline Smitha, Assistant Lecturer, Department of Community Health Nursing, FMCON. The students were educated the public on the topic "Dengue Fever" by using AV aids and followed by nutrition demonstration by the students about various diet plans like Postnatal diet, diet during Tuberculosis, Diet during Adolescent period. Program was compered by Ms Vaishali . Refreshments were served to the gathering. There were around 35 beneficiaries for this program. The program was guided by staff of Dept of Community Health Nursing.
