Mass Health Education and Nutrition Program (2024-2025)

The students of first year GNM conducted the “Mass Health Education and Nutrition Programme” on 15//02/2025 at 10.30 am at “A P M C Building” Adyar Padav. The programme began with a prayer song lead by Ms Shanika Jenifer Karla and group. The group was welcomed by Ms Alphonsa Joy. The program was inaugurated by lighting the lamp by the dignitaries  Mrs Dr Shiji PJ, HOD, Community Health Nursing Department, FMCON, Ms Tulasi, Adyar Pnchayath Member,Adyar Padav, Mrs Sudhashini, Anganwadi teacher, Adyar Padav, Mrs Flavia Dsouza and Mrs Prathiba Nayak, Asha worker, Adyar Padav, Mrs Caroline Smitha, Assistant Lecturer, Department of Community Health Nursing, FMCON. The students were educated the public on the topic “Diabetes Mellitus” by using AV aids and through Skit followed by nutrition demonstration by the students about various diet plans like Antenatal diet, Renal diet, Diet during Old age period. Program was compered by Ms Jerusha Cybil. Refreshments were served to the gathering. There were around 60 beneficiaries for this program. The program was guided by staff of Dept of Community Health Nursing.
