VIRTUAL INTERNSHIP FOR THE STUDENTS OF THE STATE UNIVERSITY OF NEW YORK

The Department of Hospital Administration
was invited by St Aloysius Autonomous College to collaborate and conduct a
virtual internship for undergraduate students of Health Management from The State
University of New York.
A Virtual Internship Programme of 30
hours was developed by the faculty which included Virtual lectures, Virtual
tours of the Departments in the hospital. After uploading the Videos the
faculty had interactions and discussions with the students on the various
facilities and the departments of the hospital. The internship began on 8th
March upto 18th March 2021. Virtual Lectures were organized from 5:30
pm IST to 8:30 pm by three faculty members from the department. During the
sessions conducted, active participation was seen from the students. The Program
for the students was well appreciated by the collaborators and the faculty from
the State University of New York.
