Guest Lecture by Dr. R P Pai

Department
of Hospital Administration of Father Muller College of Allied Health Sciences,
Mangalore organized a Guest lecture on "Issues
and concerns with relation to the placement of hospital administrators" on 29.03.22. The
resource person was Dr. R P Pai who is a well-known speaker for National and
International conferences.
The
session was very interesting and interactive. Students gained great insight into
the experiences of the resource person. He spoke about his experience in the
field of Hospital Administration.
Speaker
also explained to the students in order to succeed, they need to polish their English
and listening skills. To improve their English, he encouraged them to read English
newspapers. He also made the students understand as hospital
administration students, they must be aware of medical terminologies. He also
spoke about communication skills, medical skills, and group dynamics. He made
them understand how languages are important while working in a hospital.
An essay on the above topic was held and Dr R P Pai gave prizes for best essay and best handwriting. Vanisha Miranda rendered the vote of thanks.
