GUEST LECTURE BY Ms. SHALINI DSOUZA

Department
of Hospital Administration of Fr. Muller College of Allied Health Sciences, organized a Guest lecture on "MENTAL
HEALTH" on 26.11.22. The resource person was Ms. Shalini Dsouza, MSW and
Psychologist, Campus Counselor, Father Muller Medical College Hospital.
The session started with a welcome by Ms. Riona Pinto, MHA. Ms. Shalini was introduced to
the gathering.
It
was a knowledge-enriching session for the MHA students, She explained Mental Health problems, Symptoms and solutions. She also briefed that mental
health included emotional, psychological and social well-being.
She
conducted a meditation session for all the students for 30 minutes.
She
shared her experiences with a few illustrations from the field of Mental Health.
Students gained knowledge about rediscovering themselves.
The
Session ended up with a vote of thanks by Mr. Rudolph Baptist, MHA.
