Intercollegiate Quiz Competition

The Intercollegiate Quiz Competition was organized for undergraduate Optometry students on the Occasion of World Optometry week – 2025 from 17th March 2025 to 22nd March 2025. The Intercollegiate quiz competition and Model Eye making Competition was held on 21stMarch 2024 at the Audio-Visual Hall, Father Muller Medical College. It was organized by the department of Ophthalmology – B.sc. Optometry, Father Muller College of Ailed Health sciences.
A total number of 90 delegates attended the Intercollegiate Quiz Competition and Inaugural cum Prize distribution ceremony.
In Intercollegiate quiz competition 5 optometry colleges participated with 2students per team.
Kanachur Medical College bagged the first prize, followed by Father Muller College of Ailed Health Science securing the second prize Ms. Anusree Koothur from Father Muller College of Ailed Health Sciences was the quiz master
Reverend Father Richard Aloysius Coelho the Director of Father Muller Charitable Institutions presided over the inaugural function. Fr. Faustine Lucas Lobo, Designate Director FMCI, Fr. Ajith Menezes, Administrator FMMC, Dr. Antony Sylvan Dsouza the Dean of Father Muller Medical College, Dr. Hilda Dsouza Principal of AHS was present during the inauguration.
A Model Eye Making competition was organized for the optometry students. Students took part in the same with great enthusiasm and exhibited their artistic and knowledge skill. Participants of best two models were awarded with a trophy. It was good learning experience to the students.
Dr. Sunayana Bhat welcomed the delegatesand Ms. Kavyashree proposed vote of thanks. Dr. Madhurima A Nayak & Dr. Akshata compered the programme.
The programme was very well appreciated by the participating delegates.
