MULLERRAD25: Father Muller College of Allied Health Sciences organized MULLERRAD25, a state-level conference

The Department of Medical Imaging Technology and the Department of Radio Diagnosis and Imaging at Father Muller College of Allied Health Sciences organized MULLERRAD25, a state-level conference, on 30th March 2025.

Centred on the theme “Green Practices in Radiology,” the event focused on promoting sustainable and environmentally responsible practices within the imaging sciences. The conference drew over 300 delegates from across Karnataka, including students, faculty, technologists, and radiology professionals.

The Chief Guest, Dr. Raghuraj U, Head of the Department of Radio Diagnosis and Imaging at KSHEMA, NITTE (Deemed to be University), delivered a thought-provoking keynote address highlighting the need for ecological responsibility in modern healthcare.

Eminent speakers from various leading hospitals and institutions across the city presented on topics such as eco-friendly radiology workflows, radiation dose optimization, energy-efficient imaging equipment, and digital transformation. The conference featured a series of engaging lectures, student paper presentations, and interactive discussions on implementing green protocols in clinical settings.

Delegates commended the event for raising awareness and fostering discussion on a timely and often overlooked aspect of healthcare. MULLERRAD25 stood out as a progressive step towards combining academic excellence with environmental stewardship in radiological practice.
