Academic Collaboration between Department of Hospital Administration, FMCOAHS and IISDR

On 23rd February 2026, a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between the Indian Institute of Skill Development and Research, Mangalore and the Department of Hospital Administration, Father Muller College of Allied Health Sciences, Mangalore with the aim of creating a mutually beneficial academic and professional collaboration.
The MoU was signed by The Director, Father Muller Charitable Institutions, Rev. Fr Faustine Lucas Lobo, and the Deputy Director of the Indian Institute of Skill Development and Research Ms Arundathi Hegde, in the presence of Dr Nirmala Kumari Head of the Department of Hospital Administration and Dr Sweta DCunha, Professor, Department of Hospital Administration.
The partnership seeks to create a mutually beneficial platform for academic excellence and community oriented initiatives. Through this collaboration, both institutions will jointly organize workshops, seminars, training programs, certificate courses, and field projects focused on healthcare management, leadership development, entrepreneurship, digital literacy, and community health education. The agreement also facilitates extension activities for students, providing valuable practical exposure and professional development.
