Investiture Ceremony of the Student Council : 2026 & Release of Annual Magazine

The Investiture Ceremony of the Student Council–2026 and the Release of the Annual Magazine Muller Ignite–2025 of Father Muller College of Allied Health Sciences was held on Saturday, 28 February 2026 at 3.00 PM at the Father Muller Convention Centre, Mangaluru.

The programme commenced with a vibrant cultural performance by the Allied Health Sciences students, setting an enthusiastic tone for the evening. This was followed by a photo session involving the Magazine Committee and the newly elected Student Council along with the Director, Chief Guest, Administrator, and Principal. Subsequently, Subsequently, a ceremonial procession featuring the outgoing and incoming council members along with the dignitaries proceeded towards the Convention Centre. The outgoing council members and dignitaries were then seated on the dais.

The formal ceremony began with a soulful prayer, invoking divine blessings. The welcome address was delivered by the outgoing Student Council Secretary, Ms. Surya Udaykumar. This was followed by the lighting of the lamp, symbolizing the beginning of the ceremonial proceedings.

The Annual Magazine, Muller Ignite–2025, was released in a creative and innovative manner, marking a significant milestone for the institution. The Student Editor-in-Chief, Mr. Bevan Joseph Pierrera, then addressed the gathering, sharing the challenges, efforts, and enriching experiences of the magazine committee.

The declaration of the new Student Council was formally announced by the Administrator Rev Dr Micheal Santhumayor. The outgoing council warmly welcomed the new council members by handing over council files and roses. The administration of oath was conducted by the principal Dr Shivahankara AR, following which the new council members officially took charge, replacing the outgoing council.

The Institutional Anthem was rendered, after which the badges of office were released by the Chief Guest, Dr. Rio D’Souza, Principal, St. Joseph Engineering College, Mangaluru. This was followed by an inspiring address by the Chief Guest.

The Director Rev Fr Faustine Lucas Lobo presented certificates to the outgoing council members, staff advisors, and magazine committee members in appreciation of their dedicated service. The Outgoing President, Mr. Jnanesh, and Incoming President, Mr. Sohan V. Rao, addressed the gathering, reflecting on past achievements and future aspirations respectively. The Presidential Address was delivered by the Director.

The programme concluded with the vote of thanks proposed by the newly elected Secretary, Ms. Flavina Menezes, followed by the National Anthem. High tea was served to all the dignitaries, faculty, students, and guests, marking the end of a memorable and well-organized event.
