1.4.25: Father Muller Charitable Institutions (FMCI) is set to host multiple
graduation ceremonies, celebrating the achievements of its students across
various disciplines between 3rd to 5th April 2025.
The 35th
Graduation Ceremony of Father Muller Homoeopathic Medical College &
Hospital will take place on April 3, 2025, at the Father Muller
Convention Centre..Rev. Dr Praveen Martis SJ, Vice Chancellor of St
Aloysius Deemed to be University, will be the Chief Guest, and Dr Subhas
Singh, Former Director of National University of Homoeopathy, Kolkata, will
be the Guest of Honour. A total of 89 BHMS graduates and 27 MD (Hom.)
postgraduates will receive their degrees, and 17 rank holders will
be honored.
On April
4, 2025, the Graduation Ceremony of Father Muller Medical College,
College of Allied Health Sciences, and College of Physiotherapy will be
held at the same venue. Dr Bhagavan B C, Vice Chancellor of Rajiv Gandhi
University of Health Sciences, Bengaluru, and Dr Rajeev Kumar, Sr Medical
Officer, Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas, New Delhi, will be the
Chief Guests. The program will commence with a Eucharistic celebration, followed
by a grand procession and the awarding of degrees. A total of 469 students
will graduate, including MBBS (153), PG Medical (77), Allied Health (135 UG,
40 PG), and Physiotherapy (54 UG, 10 PG). The ceremony will also recognize 61
rank holders across various disciplines.
On April
5, 2025, the Graduation Ceremony of the Father Muller School &
College of Nursing and Father Muller College (Speech and Hearing) will see 243
graduates receiving their degrees. The event will honour47 graduates
from the School of Nursing, 141 from the College of Nursing (including B.Sc.,
Post Basic B.Sc., and M.Sc.), and 55 from the College of Speech and Hearing.
Dr P.L. Dharma the Honourable Vice chancellor of Mangalore University will be
the Chief Guest.
All the
graduation ceremonies will be presided by Most Rev. Dr Peter Paul Saldanha,
Bishop of Mangalore and President of FMCI with patrons being FMCI Director Rev. Fr Richard Aloysius Coelho and FMCI Designate
Director Rev. Fr Faustine Lucas Lobo.
These
ceremonies will be a testament to FMCI’s unwavering commitment to academic
excellence and its role in shaping future healthcare professionals. The
graduates are set to embark on their professional journeys, carrying forward
the institution’s legacy of service, compassion, and excellence.
The welcome note during the press meet was heralded
by FMCI Director Rev. Fr Richard Aloysius Coelho who said
that the bridge between the work done and work shown is the media in all its
forms. Media are the one to open the eyes of many to good and evils of this
world. Media personnel risk their lives for their livelihood and are
gatekeepers of the happenings of the world.

Fr Faustine Lucas Lobo & Administrator Father Muller Homoeopathic Medical
College Hospital presented the graduation details of the homoeopathic college
led by its principal Prof Dr EJS Prabhu Kiran who presented the rank list.

while Dean FMMC Dr Antony Sylvan Dsouza read pot the university ranks of all the
colleges in presence of Principal FMCOAH Professor Dr
Hilda Dsouza and Principal FMCOP Professor Cherishma Dsilva.
Breifing of the graduation
day of the college and school of nursing was done by Director Rev. Fr Richard
Aloysius Coelho while the rank list was read by Principal FMSON/CON : Rev.
Professor SrDhanyaDevasia and Principal FMC (Sp&Hg): Professor Cynthia
Santhmayor for their respective colleges.
In attendance were

FMHMCH Dr Uday Kumar, Vice Principal FMHMCH Dr Wilma Dsouza, Medical
Superintendent FMHMCH Dr Girish Navada, Media Coordinator FMHMCH Dr Sherlyn,
Graduation convener FMHMCH Dr Reshal. Dr Kelvin Pais Liaison Officer compeered
the meet.
The vote of thanks was
essayed by Administrator FMMC/AHS/COP Rev. Fr Ajith B Menezes while the grace
before the sumptuous lunch was rendered by Administrator FMMCH Rev. Fr George
Jeevan Sequeira.
