World Hand Hygiene Day was celebrated at Father Muller Hospital Thumbay on 22-10-2020 at 11.00Am. Rev. Fr Sylvester Vincent Lobo, Administrator of Father Muller Hospital Thumbay, Dr Kiran Shetty, Medical Superintendent and all the teaching and non teaching staff were present. 

The programme began with a prayer song. Dr. Saritha Lobo department of opthalmology welcomed the gathering and conducted drill on hand rub as per guidelines given by WHO. Resource person for the programme was Dr. Deekshith Shetty, dept. of ENT addressed the gathering and delivered the message on hand hygiene and told the importance of hand hygiene in our day today life. Rev. Fr Sylvester Vincent Lobo stressed on the importance of hand hygiene and also distributed the prizes for the winners of Poster and Video clip competition on hand hygiene.  The anchoring of the programme was done by Dr. Chrishel Karishma Castelino, dept of dental and Dr. Saritha Lobo department of opthalmology   delivered  vote of thanks.
