health check up camp was held at Christ the King Church, Manila, Punacha on 19-02-2023
from 9.30am to 1.00pm. Camp was organized by Father Muller Hospital Thumbay and
Father Muller Hospital, Kankanady.
Camp was Inaugurated
by lighting the lamp by Rev Fr Sylvester Vincent Lobo, Administrator Father
Muller Hospital Thumbay, Rev Fr Paul Prakash Dsouza, Parish Priest of Christ
King Church, Manela, Dr Jostol Pinto, interventional Cardiologist &
Associate Professor of Cardiology at Father Muller Medical College, Mangalore, Mr. Roshan Tellis, Vice President of
Christ King Church, Manela, Mr. Xaviour Dsouza, President of Catholic Sabha
Christ King Church, Manela.
Addressing the
gathering Rev Fr Sylvester Vincent Lobo, Administrator Father Muller Hospital
Thumbay said, health is wealth and to live healthy & happy life by doing regular health
checkups. This helps in assessing risk factors and can identify any early signs of health issues. Donating blood also brings better health so donate
blood to save the life of others. Fr Sylvester expressed his thanks to all doctors, Nurses and supportive staff and every
parishioner of Christ King Church Manela for the support of health check up camp.
Dr Jostol Pinto,
interventional Cardiologist & Associate Professor of Cardiology at Father
Muller Medical College, Mangalore spoke on caring the Heart & prevention
of Heart attack. Addressing the
gathering he said, being active and doing regular exercise & having healthy food one can keep heart and blood vessels in good
condition.
Total 130 patients benefitted by this camp.
