Christmas Celebration 2024

Christmas and New Year celebration was held at Florence Nightingale Hall, Father Muller Nursing College Thumbay on 19-12-2024 at 3.00pm. The celebration, a joint venture of Father Muller Hospital, Thumbay, Father Muller Nursing College-Thumbay and Father Muller Allied Health Sciences College Thumbay was graced by Rev. Fr Richard Coelho, Director, Father Muller Charitable Institutions, who presided over the function and was joined by Rev. Fr Sylvester Vincent Lobo, Administrator of FMHT, Dr Kiran Shetty, Medical Superintendent, FMHT, Dr Sr Judy SIC, Principal FMNCT, Mrs. Janet Sequeira, Vice Principal FMNCT and Dr Shivashankara A R Principal FMAHSCT.
The programme began with a prayer dance by 1st year B.Sc Nursing students of FMNCT, followed by a welcome address by Dr Shivashankara A R, Principal, FMAHSCT, who extended a cordial welcome to the gathering. The function was inaugurated by the dignitaries with the ceremonial cutting of the Christmas cake.
Muller @ Thumbay, Magazine of FMHT, FMNCT & FMAHSCT was released by Rev. Fr Richard Coelho, Director, Father Muller Charitable Institutions.
In his presidential address, Rev Fr Richard Coelho said, “Christmas is a celebration of love, brotherhood and festivity. It teaches us the value of love with God coming to the world, bringing us salvation, joy and peace. The history of the world turned into Before Christ and After Christ. Therefore, the man who brought peace to the world is Jesus Christ. Let us forget our hatred and anger and instead see God’s grace in our brothers and sisters”.
Christmas joy was shared with everyone through Christmas carols, dance & a skit was performed by our Staff of FMHT, FMNCT &FMAHSCT Students. Dr Edveena Monis, Associate Professor, FMNCT conducted fun filled lucky games. Prizes were distributed to the winners of Christmas Star competition and spot games.
The programme was compered meticulously and eloquently by Ms Drishal Dsouza Asst. Quality Manager FMHT & Dr Chinmayee Hebbar, Senior Resident, Dept of ENT delivered the vote of thanks. It concluded with the singing of the Institution Anthem, followed by the distribution of refreshments to all staff & students.
