Republic Day Celebrated at Father Muller Hospital Thumbay

Father Muller Hospital Thumbay, Father Muller Nursing College Thumbay & Father Muller Allied Health Sciences College Thumbay (units of FMCI) celebrated the 77 th  Republic Day on Monday January 26, 2026 at 08:30am at the main entrance of the hospital.

The Chief Guest was Dr. Pauline Anand, Principal, Father Muller Allied Health Sciences College Thumbay, Rev. Fr  Sylvester Vincent Lobo, Administrator, Dr. Reena Wilma Frank, Principal, FMNCT, Doctors, Staff,faculty, students of FMNCT, FMAHSCT and Patient’s relatives were assembled in the hospital premises for the flag unfurling ceremony which started with prayer song led by FMAHSCT students.

Dr. Reena Wilma Frank, Principal, FMNCT welcomed the Chief Guest and others.

The Chief Guest Dr.Pauline Anand, unfurled the National Flag and gave the message on the occasion. She highlighted that this year also marks the completion of 150th anniversary of our National song Vande Matharam, a song that inspired millions of our freedom fighters. She paid tribute to the Indian Constitution and its values of duty, equality and service that form the foundation of our great nation. Maam helped us in understanding how Republic day is connected to our medical profession too. Every day, we stand for life, compassion and humanity without seeing caste, creed or status.

The programme concluded with the patriotic song sung by Allied students.  Mr Hemanth K, Lecturer, FMAHSCT was MC for the programme. On this occasion sweets were distributed to the gathering.
