On the occasion of International Women's Day 2025, an inspirational talk on the topic “Empowerment of women”, Rights and Equality of Men and Women was organized by Women's Guidance and Counselling Committee for teaching and non-teaching staff on 07.03.2025 at Father Muller College of Pharmaceutical Sciences Auditorium, Deralakatte.
The session was attended by 90 teaching and non-teaching staff of Father Muller HMC and Father Muller College of Pharmaceutical Sciences. The programme began at 2.00 pm with an introduction by the MC's, Dr Jolly D'mello and Mrs. Prashma Bolar, which was followed by a prayer song by Dr Jyoshna S and team. Dr Anita Lobo, HOD of Repertory Department and WGC coordinator, welcomed the gathering.
A floral bouquet was then presented by Rev. Fr Faustine Lucas Lobo, Designate Director, FMCI and Administrator FMHMC and Hospital to Director, FMCI Rev Fr Richard Aloysius Coelho as a token of appreciation. A brief biodata of resource person was presented, followed by presentation of floral bouquet to Mrs Jyothi Pinto, Manager-HRD, FMCI by Dr Satish S, Principal, FMCOPS. This was followed by lighting of lamp by the Resource person and dignitaries on the dais. Rev. Fr Nelson Dheeraj Pais, Administrator, Father Muller Homoeopathic Pharmaceutical Division also graced the occasion.
Rev. Fr Faustine Lucas Lobo, Designate Director, Father Muller Charitable Institutions and Administrator, Father Muller Homoeopathic Medical College and Hospital gave an enlightening message regarding the rights and equality of men and women,
Three female staff were felicitated for completing 25 years in the institution. A certificate and memento were presented to the Resource person, Mrs. Jyothi Pinto by the Director, Rev Fr Richard Aloysius Coelho, followed by his motivating presidential address.
An inspirational talk on “Empowerment of women”, Rights and Equality of Men and Women was rendered by the Resource person, Mrs. Jyothi Pinto. This was followed with a vote of thanks by Mrs Fmith Celvia Miranda, Associate Professor, FMCOPS and the Institutional Anthem.
Refreshments were then served followed by fun games only for the female staff. The programme concluded a 4.30 pm.
