INDEPENDENCE DAY CELEBRATION

The Father Muller College of Pharmaceutical Sciences, in association with Father Muller Homoeopathic Medical College & Hospital, celebrated the 79th Independence Day with great patriotism and enthusiasm on 15th August 2025. The programme commenced at 9:00 a.m. with a solemn prayer song, setting the tone for the occasion.

The gathering was warmly welcomed by Dr. E. S. Prabhukiran, Principal of Father Muller Homoeopathic Medical College. The Chief Guest of the day, Rev. Fr. George Jeevan Sequeira, unfurled the national flag and delivered a meaningful Independence Day message, highlighting the values of freedom and responsibility.

Following this, the Presidential Address was given by Rev. Fr. Donald Nilesh Crasta, Administrator, Father Muller Homeopathic Medical College. The programme was also graced by the presence of Rev. Fr. Nelson Dheeraj Pais, Administrator of Father Muller Homeopathic Pharmaceutical Division, and Rev. Fr. Ashwin Crasta, Assistant Administrator, who guided the proceedings.

As part of the celebration, prizes were distributed to the winners of the Patriotic Song Competitions, fostering a spirit of unity and pride. Ms. Nishmitha Gretta D’Souza, Associate Professor, Father Muller College of Pharmaceutical Sciences, proposed the Vote of Thanks, appreciating the efforts of all contributors.

The event concluded with the distribution of sweets and the rendition of the Institutional Anthem, leaving the audience with a sense of joy and patriotism.
