INAUGURATES 2ND BATCH OF B. PHARM COURSE 2025–26

Mangaluru, Sept. 15: Father Muller College of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Deralakatte, held the Course Inauguration Ceremony of the 2nd Batch of the Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm) programme for the academic year 2025–26 on Monday, September 15, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. in the college auditorium.

The event commenced with a soulful Prayer Song led by II Semester B.Pharm students, invoking the blessings of the Almighty. The dignitaries were then escorted to the dais, including Rev. Fr Faustine Lucas Lobo, Director, FMCI and President of the programme; Dr. E. S. J. Prabhu Kiran, Principal, Father Muller Homoeopathic Medical College, who was the Chief Guest; Rev. Fr Donald Nilesh Crasta, Administrator, FMHMC&H & FMCOPS; Rev. Fr. Dr. Michael Santhumayor, Administrator, Father Muller Medical College; and Dr. Satish S, Principal, FMCOPS.

In his Welcome Address, Rev. Fr Donald Nilesh Crasta greeted the gathering warmly and encouraged the students to pursue academic excellence with discipline and commitment. The formal inauguration of the course was marked by the ceremonial lighting of the lamp, symbolizing knowledge and enlightenment.

Delivering the Inaugural Message, Chief Guest Dr. E. S. J. Prabhu Kiran inspired the students with his words of motivation, highlighting the importance of dedication, compassion, and continuous learning in the healthcare profession. This was followed by the Presidential Address by Rev. Fr Faustine Lucas Lobo, who emphasized values, responsibility, and leadership as the foundation of professional growth.

Dr. Satish S, Principal, FMCOPS, proposed the Vote of Thanks, acknowledging the contributions of everyone who made the event a success. The audience then joined in singing the Institutional Anthem.

In the second session, Dr. Satish S addressed the students, briefing them on the college rules, regulations, and expectations for the academic year. Rev. Fr Donald Nilesh Crasta also interacted with the gathering and gave hostel guidelines to the students and parents, ensuring clarity on residential rules and facilities. The programme concluded with the National Anthem.

The event was graced by faculty members, parents, and enthusiastic students. The inauguration not only marked the beginning of a new academic journey but also reaffirmed Father Muller’s commitment to nurturing competent and compassionate pharmacy professionals for the future.
