PREPARATORY ACTIVITIES FOR IPCTIP–2026

May 11, 2026

Extensive planning and preparation were carried out prior to the conduct of the Two-Day National Seminar-cum-Workshop on “Innovative Practices in Clinical Training and Industry Practices – 2026 (IPCTIP–2026)” organized by Father Muller College of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Mangaluru.

The preparatory phase commenced with the formation of various organizing committees to oversee different aspects of the event. Several planning meetings were conducted under the guidance of the Principal and organizing team to ensure the smooth execution of the programme. Responsibilities were clearly assigned to the respective committees, and regular review meetings were held to monitor the progress of the preparations.

Invitations and promotional brochures were circulated to pharmacy colleges, healthcare institutions, and professionals across the country to encourage participation in the seminar and workshop. The Registration Committee actively followed up with institutions and participants regarding registrations, maintained records of delegates, addressed queries, and sent confirmation emails to registered participants.

The Scientific Committee played a key role in preparing the event brochure, certificates, abstract book, and scientific programme schedule. The committee also formulated the guidelines, rules, and evaluation criteria for the Oral Presentation, Poster Presentation, and Patient Information Leaflet (PIL) competitions. Abstracts received from participants were reviewed, categorized, and scheduled for presentation.

Appropriate venues were identified and arranged for the inaugural function, scientific sessions, hands-on workshops, oral and poster presentations, competitions, and valedictory programme. Necessary audiovisual facilities, laboratory equipment, and logistical requirements were coordinated well in advance to ensure the smooth conduct of all activities.

The Publicity and Hospitality Committees coordinated the preparation and installation of flex boards, directional signages, banners, and display materials across the campus. The Registration Committee prepared and packed delegate kits containing conference materials, stationery, schedules, and other essentials for all participants

Arrangements for food and refreshments were also finalized, including designated venues for breakfast, lunch, tea, and networking interactions. Accommodation, transportation support, and hospitality arrangements for invited resource persons and guests were coordinated efficiently.

Through the dedicated efforts of all organizing committees, faculty members, staff, and student volunteers, the necessary infrastructure, logistics, and academic arrangements were successfully completed, ensuring the smooth and successful conduct of IPCTIP–2026.
