Medical Exhibition stall at Vamanjoor Mega Fiesta - 2024

A Medical Exhibition Stall was organized by our institution on 23^rd & 24^th November 2024, at the Vamanjoor Mega Fiesta 2024 hosted by St. Joseph the Worker's Church, Vamanjoor.

The venue set up was very informative consisting of the torso, specimens on the fibroid uterus, cirrhosis of the liver and renal stones, the charts and flexis with the information on diabetes mellitus, hypertension, dengue fever, asthma, PCOD, balanced diet, benefits & Myths on Homoeopathy, the pharmacovigilance awareness on the false advertisement and adverse effect of the drug.

We offered free blood pressure checkup, weight, and height measurement.

We also gave away 20 health cards at the concessional rate.

The event received an overwhelming response, with over 300 visitors benefiting from the stall. Our students' efforts in explaining the conditions and clearing doubts were highly appreciated.

On day one, 13 volunteers – Dr Amogha S K, Dr Kiran Kumar, Ms Supriya, Mr Akhil Monteiro, Mr Siddartha, Ms Neha Marita Pais, Ms Chethana P L, Mr Anil Kumar, Ms Anu S Ram, Mr Manjunatha, Ms Aditi, Ms Prajna S, Mr Alwyn Fernandes and 4 staff Dr Deena M Monteiro, Dr Saviona Fernandes, Dr Sushmitha and Dr Fathima Soudath were present at the stall from 10.30 a.m. to 8.30 p.m.

On day two, in the morning session 12 volunteers Dr Aiswarya, Ms Smithalakshmi, Ms Sreelakshmi, Ms Srikanya, Ms Sweedal, Ms Khushi, Mr Manjunatha, Ms Anu S ram, Mr Anil Kumar, Ms Preksha, Ms Sree Gowri, Ms Ranjitha and afternoon session 10 volunteers  Dr Aiswarya, Dr Madhu KP, Dr Jaggesha, Ms Alvia, Ms Adria,  Ms Dhanyasree, Ms Ashwitha, Ms Vaishnavi Rao, Mr Anil Kumar, Ms Sree Gowri  with 3 faculties Dr Deena M Monteiro, Dr Sushmitha and Dr Fathima Soudath were present at the stall from 8.00 a.m. torn8.00 p.m. It was a fruitful event.
