Father Muller Homoeopathic Medical College organized a jubilant
and meaningful Christmas, New Year 2025 and Hostel Day celebration on 18th
December 2024 in the college premises. The programme commenced by invoking the
blessings of the almighty with a melodious prayer song by Dr Chrisel and team.
Rev Fr Faustine Lucas Lobo, Designate Director FMCI &Administrator
FMHMC&H, extended a warm and cordial welcome to the gathering. To commemorate
the joy of Christmas cake cutting ceremony was held. Director Rev Fr Richard
Aloysius Coelho along with Administrator Rev Fr Faustine Lucas Lobo, Assistant
Administrator Rev Fr Ashwin Crasta, Rev Fr Nelson Pais, Administrator of HPD, Principal
Dr ESJ Prabhu Kiran, Vice Principal Dr Vilma D’Souza, Management committee members,
Cultural Co-ordinators, Cultural Secretary and Student Council Representatives.

Coelho, Director, FMCI. Director, in his Presidential message conveyed. Meaningfully highlighted the essence of Christmas and its relevance to
the healthcare profession. He emphasized the timeless values taught by Jesus
Christ—love, unity, and brotherhood as essential for peace and harmony. His
words resonate deeply, reminding us that Christmas is not only a celebration
but also a call to action: to love and care for our neighbours, particularly in
the context of healing and comforting the sick and needy. By placing our trust
in God, we can embrace the New Year with renewed hope and aspirations, even
amidst uncertainty. His inspiring message serves as a gentle reminder of the
profound connection between faith, service, and humanity.
To enliven the occasion and enhance the festivity and make the
occasion more meaningful Christmas carol singing competition was held for the UG’s,
Interns and PG’s. Mrs Shilpa Cutinha and Mr Roshan V Corderio judged the competition.
The Judges were felicitated with a token of gratitude by the Director.
The Logo of cultural and sports events Ruby Rhythm was
inaugurated by the Director.
Lucky draw contest was conducted by Dr G. Rajachandra and
the winners were awarded attractive prizes. The winners of Pioneer competitions
and Sports competition held by RGUHS were felicitated by the Administrator.
Adding sparkle and joy
to the occasion, the non-teaching staff melodiously presented the Christmas
carols, while the HPD staff presented an engaging dance drama on the Christmas
theme. The teaching staff further amplified the festive cheer with a lively,
foot-tapping performance, making the celebration even more memorable.
The arrival of Santa
Claus with his lively troupe created a mesmerizing and joyous atmosphere,
adding to the festive spirit of Christmas. The winners of the Carol Singing
Competition-1st Place I BHMS (Sr), 2nd Place-IV BHMS, 3rd place-III BHMS and
Best Hostel Room Winners were Awarded with cash prizes, celebrating their
exceptional efforts. The event was eloquently and gracefully hosted by Ms
Sandra Shruthi and Mr Abhineshwan, who added charm and elegance to the
occasion.
Celebrations concluded with the Institution Anthem. To
enhance the festivity and share the joy of Christmas sumptuous dinner was served.
