Visit to Milk Dairy 2025

Final year students visited the Dakshina Kannada Co-Operative Milk Producers\' Union Limited, Kulshekar on 12^th February 2025. The students were accompanied by Community Medicine department staffs Dr Sajan K R & Dr Kashyap Suvarna.

Mr Manoj Nelliady, in-charge at the dairy gave brief introduction and explained about the different components of milk and the fat percentage of each product, method of collection of milk, pasteurization, skimming, tinning and packing the products. There was an interactive session at the end of the visit.
