Report on the activities conducted in view of World Homoeopathy Day 2025

The World Homoeopathy Day celebration commenced with the observance of World Health day and the Inauguration of Homoeopathic Sapthaha on April 7, 2025, at the College Auditorium. The Chief Guest, Dr. Mohammad Iqbal, inaugurated Homoeopathic Sapthaha.

This a weeklong Homoeopathic Sapthaha from 07.04.2025 to 12.04.2025 was included the following events


Awareness talks on health and Homoeopathy were conducted at

  • Ullal AYUSH health Centre –Awareness talk on Health and Homoeopathy was given with the coordination of staff Incharge Dr Mini, and Hospital staff Dr Anila and PG Dr Keerthi. The number of beneficiaries was 60.
  •  Father Muller Hospital Thumbay - Awareness talk was given to the Father Muller nursing college students regarding Different diseases and scope of Homoeopathy. Benefits of Homeopathy in Gynecological complaints was also highlighted. Beneficiaries were 120. Dr Shainaz was the coordinator of the programme
  •  Father Muller Homoeopathic Medical College Deralakatte - Awareness talks, Homoeopathic Exhibition of models and Charts on the awareness of” Health and benefits of Homoeopathy. There was also concessions during this week for the benefit of the patients sponsored by the management. Total patients who took the benefits for the week - New cases 48, Follow up -324 Total 372.

Discounts were offered on Homoeopathic medicines, blood tests, and urine examinations.

Competitions, including Essay Writing, Drug Comic Strips, Quiz, and Drug Dramatics, were held for students.

On 11.04.2025, 270th Birth Anniversary was observed by paying floral tribute to Dr Samuel Hahnemann by the management, staff and students. 

World Homoeopathy Day 2025 was celebrated on 02.05.2025 at Father Muller Homoeopathic Medical College commemorating the 270th Birth Anniversary of Dr Christian Friedrich Samuel Hahnemann, the Founder of Homoeopathy.

A distinguished alumnus of 2000 UG Batch Dr Reju Kareem, BHMS, MD(Hom), former President of IHK, Kerala State was the Guest of Honour. Rev. Fr Richard Aloysius Coelho, Director, Father Muller Charitable Institutions presided over the program.

Convener Dr Jenita Fernandes escorted the Guest of Honour, Director, Designate Director & Administrator Rev. Fr Faustine L Lobo, Principal Dr E S J Prabhu Kiran and Vice Principal Dr Vilma Meera Dsouza to the dais.

The winners of the various competitions held in view of World Homoeopathy Day 2025 were also awarded during the program.

Dr Mukesh Batra Homoeopathy Scholarship awards were presented to the meritorious students Rev. Fr Faustine L Lobo, Designate Director FMCI & Administrator, FMHMC&H. Gold scholarship presented to Ms Jeena Rosily Joy, Silver scholarship to Ms Anna Johnson and Bronze scholarship to Ms Sandra Shruthi S.

The vote of thanks was proposed by the convener Dr Jenita Fernandes. The inauguration program ended with the Institution Anthem.

Dr B Leisha Mae and Mr Joe Paul were the MCs for the day.

The Guest of Honour, Dr Reju Kareem interacted with the students of Father Muller Homoeopathic Medical College sharing his experiences in the journey that began after his education at Father Mullers.
