National Doctors’ Day Celebration 2025

National Doctors’ Day was celebrated on 01.07. 2025 at Father Muller Homoeopathic Medical College & Hospital to commemorate the birth anniversary of Dr. Bidhan Chandra Roy.
The programme commenced with a prayer song invoking God’s blessings by Dr Aby P Johnson and team. Rev. Fr Donald Nilesh Crasta, Administrator, FMHMCH welcomed the gathering and extended warm wishes to all the doctors on this special occasion.
This was followed by the ceremonial lighting of the lamp by the dignitaries:
Rev. Fr Faustine Lucas Lobo, Director, Father Muller Charitable Institutions ; Rev. Fr Donald Nilesh Crasta, Administrator, FMHMCH; Rev. Fr Nelson Dheeraj Pais, Administrator, FMHPD; Dr E.S.J. Prabhu Kiran, Principal; Dr Vilma Meera D’Souza, Vice Principal; Dr Girish Navada U. K., Medical Superintendent and Guest of Honour and Dr G. Rajachandra, PG Program Coordinator.
As a mark of honour, Rev. Fr Faustine Lucas Lobo garlanded the portraits of Dr. B. C. Roy and Rev. Fr Augustus Muller.
Dr Girish Navada U. K., Medical Superintendent and Professor & Head of the Department of Homoeopathic Psychiatry, was felicitated for his dedicated service to the institution and society. Dr Amitha P Baliga presented a brief citation highlighting his contributions and achievements.
After the felicitation, Dr Girish addressed the gathering and expressed his gratitude for the recognition and the opportunity to serve the institution and the community.
Doctors and postgraduate scholars were honoured with flowers by the Director in appreciation of their service.
On this occasion, Rev. Fr Faustine Lucas Lobo was also felicitated as a token of our gratitude and welcoming Rev Fr Faustine officially as a Director to FMHMC.
In his presidential address, he acknowledged and appreciated the commitment and invaluable service rendered by the Doctors and PG scholars.
The programme concluded with the vote of thanks.
The event was compered by Dr. Parvathi Nanda and Dr. Mubeen Jakati, postgraduate scholars.
