Brief Summary of EXPLORA 2025

EXPLORA 2025, International Homeopathic Conference held from 14th to 16th November 2025 was an intellectually enriching experience with successful active participation from eminent speakers, delegates, students, and faculty from across the country. The academic events over the three days included keynote lectures, open forums, focus sessions, OSCE-based workshops, and multiple academic competitions.

The scientific deliberations featured a total of 26 keynote speakers, with 6 speakers presenting on 14th November, 14 speakers on 15th November, and 6 speakers on 16th November. These sessions provided valuable insights into contemporary issues in Homoeopathic education, research, and clinical practice.

Simultaneously, Open Forum presentations were conducted at the Main Hall and Mini Hall of the Fr Muller Convention Centre. The Main Hall hosted 18 speakers, while the Mini Hall accommodated 64 speakers, making a total of 82 presentations, reflecting a strong academic response and research enthusiasm among the delegates.

The Explora – Focus Sessions were conducted by distinguished resource persons, Dr Kim Jobst in the Syndicate Hall of the College of Nursing and Dr Ashley Ross in the Senate Hall of the Medical College B Block. Each session saw an attendance of 30 to 40 participants, who engaged actively in discussions and interactive learning.

The Explora – Focus Workshop (OSCE) in Repertory, Organon, and Materia Medica was held in LH6, Medical College B Block. The OSCE in Repertory was conducted by Dr Munir Ahmed R and was attended by 23 delegates. The OSCE in Organon conducted by Dr Skandhan Kumar witnessed the highest participation with 51 delegates, while the OSCE in Materia Medica conducted by Dr Asha Kiran saw the participation of 30 delegates. These practical, skill-based assessments contributed to enhancing clinical competency among participants.

A series of academic competitions were also organized as part of EXPLORA 2025. The Case Report/Case Series Presentation Competition was held on 14th November 2025 at Rajatha Bhavan, College of Nursing, with 42 participants showcasing their clinical and analytical skills. The Research Paper Presentation Competition, held on 15th November 2025 at the same venue, saw 39 participants presenting their research work. Additionally, the Poster Presentation Competition, conducted on 15th November 2025 at the Convention Hall, recorded the highest number of entries with 52 participants.

The competitions concluded with the announcement of winners across UG, PG, and Faculty/Practitioner categories. In the Case Report/Case Series Competition, the winners were: Ms Kadambari (Intern – Father Muller Homoeopathic Medical College), Dr Fathima M. M. (PG – Government Homoeopathic Medical College, Calicut), and Dr Shruti Kakade (Faculty/Practitioner – KLE Homoeopathic Medical College, Belagavi).

In the Research Paper Presentation Competition, the winners were: Mr Alias P Varghese (UG – Athurasramam NSS Homoeopathic Medical College, Kottayam), Dr Bhumi Patel (PG – M. L. Dhawale Memorial Homoeopathic Institute, Palghar), and Dr Jessica Monteiro (Faculty/Practitioner – KLE Homoeopathic Medical College, Belagavi).
For the Poster Presentation Competition, the winners were: Ms Kadambari (Intern – Father Muller Homoeopathic Medical College), Dr Lakshmi B. S. (PG – Father Muller Homoeopathic Medical College, Mangalore), and Dr Premalata B. Rotti (Faculty/Practitioner – A.M. Shaikh Homoeopathic Medical College & P.G. Research Centre, Belagavi).

Overall, the Scientific Sessions of EXPLORA 2025 were marked by high academic participation, diverse scholarly contributions, and productive knowledge exchange. The event successfully fulfilled its objective of creating a vibrant platform for learning, research dissemination, and professional growth within the Homoeopathic fraternity.
