The inauguration of 41st batch of UG and 28th Batch of PG and Fresher’s day programme was organized on 16.02.2026 at 2.30 pm in the Father Muller Auditorium.
Rev. Fr Faustine Lucas Lobo, Director, Father Muller Charitable Institutions Presided over the occasion, Dr Vijayendra V Itagi, Principal of Yenepoya Homeopathic Medical College was the Chief guest.
The fresher’s were ushered a warm welcome by the seniors and lead into the auditorium. Ms Karishma and team invoked the blessings of the almighty with a melodious prayer song. Dr E S J Prabhu Kiran, Principal FMHMC welcomed the august gathering.
UG and PG courses were inaugurated by the dignitaries and UG and PG representatives by lighting the lamp.
As a token of love and greeting mementos were presented to the fresher’s by the Administrator, Chief Guest and Director.
Chief Guest Dr Vijayendra V Itagi in his message congratulated the freshers, calling them the stars of the day and future professionals. He shared his personal journey into homoeopathy as how an uncertain beginning led him to become a proud Homoeopath. He emphasized self- development, academic responsibilities shared between teachers and students. Also adviced students to follow values inspired by their parents.
Rev Fr Donald Nilesh Crasta, Administrator FMHMCH In his message, reminded students that as they begin this new chapter of their academic journey, they should approach the opportunities ahead with enthusiasm and determination. He emphasized that the college is not merely a place to gain knowledge but also a nurturing environment for building character, honing skills, and fostering lifelong friendships. Utilize these resources to their fullest potential. Above all, uphold the values of integrity, respect, and compassion that define our institution. As they prepare to step into the world as future leaders and professionals, these qualities will set them apart and help them make a meaningful impact on society.
Director Rev Fr Faustine Lucas Lobo, Director in his presidential message welcomed the fresher’s and emphasized the fact that we all are Mullerian’s with a clear goal of becoming medical professionals. It is vital for us to cultivate a compassionate heart and genuine empathy, as well as to respect the patients we encounter in our journey. Father highlighted wisdom as the guiding force that helps individual choose what is right and avoid what is wrong. He encouraged students to develop a global Outlook, becoming responsible individuals acceptable and adaptable to all the sections of the society.
