"STEP UP" PTSA Meeting for I & II BHMS students

"STEP UP" PTSA for the I BHMS (2024-25) and II BHMS (2023-2024) organised by the PTSA Committee on 21.02.2026 in the college auditorium . The primary objective of the “STEP UP” PTSA programme is to foster meaningful interaction among parents, students, and teachers, enabling a comprehensive review of students’ academic progress and overall personal development. 

The programme commenced at 9:45am by imploring the blessings of the Almighty through a melodius invocation led by Ms Prajna and team .Dr ESJ Prabhu Kiran ,Principal  extended a warm and cordial welcome to  the gathering. 

The meeting was formally inaugurated by lighting of the lamp by the dignitaries and parent representatives. 

Dr Amitha P Baliga ,UG Programme Coordinator presented a comprehensive report on the academic progress of the students  in university and internal examinations and co-curricular achievements of students showcasing their  magnanimous talents .

Principal Dr. E. S. J. Prabhu Kiran in his message highlighted that “Step Up” is a unique initiative of the Parent–Teacher–Student Association of Father Muller Homoeopathic Medical College. Through this programme, we stay connected with parents throughout each academic year to ensure that our students grow not only into competent and effective homoeopathic doctors, but also into responsible and compassionate human beings. The term “Step Up,” coined by our previous administrators, carries a deeper meaning — guiding our students step by step up the ladder towards becoming skilled and efficient doctors. Sir expressed his sincere gratitude to the parents and acknowledged that their active interaction enables us to strengthen our academic standards and foster the overall growth of the institution.

Rev. Fr. Donald Nilesh Crasta, Administrator of Father Muller Homoeopathic Medical College and Hospital, appreciated the parents for their presence and commended the staff for their dedicated service.

Father assured parents that their children are in safe hands at Father Muller Charitable Institutions. He noted that qualified mentors and support systems are in place to help students cope with homesickness, peer pressure and academic stress. 

Dr Jolly D’Mello PTSA Co-ordinator, proposed the vote of thanks. Dr Harshitha Neyalga Compered the event. 

The formal inaugural programme concluded with the Institution Anthem. This was followed by departmental interactions.The Meeting concluded at 4.20 pm. 

A total of 22 students from II BHMS and 35 students from I BHMS Sr, along with their parents, attended the programme. A total of 96 Parents attended the meeting.
