Field Visit to Amblamogeru Primary Health Center

Third year BHMS students of Father Muller Homoeopathic Medical College visited the Amblamogeru Primary Health Center on 06.03.2026 as part of their Community Medicine learning program. The students were accompanied by the Department of Community Medicine staff, Dr. Sajan K. R., Dr. Kashyap Suvarna, and Dr. Shareya N. Padiyar.

Mrs. Ashwini, Nursing In-charge of the PHC, welcomed the students and provided a brief introduction to the functioning of the health center. She explained the staffing pattern, various services provided at the PHC, referral centers, and emergency services available. She also highlighted the important role of ASHA workers in delivering healthcare at the grassroots level in the community.

The session also included a discussion on newly introduced government health schemes, including Ayushman Bharat. The students actively interacted during the session and gained practical insights related to their academic learning.
