Medical Camp held in Farla Church

On 23rd of February, 2020, a
free medical camp was organised at Our Lady of Vailankanni Church, Farla,
Bantwal ,by the Medicine unit A and Paediatric unit (Wednesday) of FMHMC. A
team of 20 visited the church to organise the camp. Dr Amita Baliga and Dr
Reshel Noronha were the team leaders. There were 8 postgraduate students, 9
interns and 1 non teaching staff present for the camp.
The camp was inaugurated by lighting the
lamp followed by a short introduction by Dr Sr Mable. A total of 232 patients
attended the camp. Out of them 162 were adults and 70 were children. Out of 162
adults, 72 were males and 90 were females. Out of 70 children 32 were males and
38 were females. 109 health cards were issued. 104 blood tests were done. The
camp concluded at 1pm.
